Training in ColdFusion will provide even experienced web developers with the knowledge and hands-on practice they need for building and maintaining dynamic and interactive web applications using ColdFusion 8, increasing productivity and demonstrating how to add more functionality to web applications.

Fast Track course topics include managing database content, building forms with ColdFusion, building search interfaces and drill-down interfaces, reusing templates, securing an application.

Advanced course topics include configuring an application, manipulating data, lists and queries, ColdFusion components, handling errors and exceptions, code reuse, Flash forms, scaling applications.

audience

Students should have a familiarity with web terminology, an understanding of web server characteristics, experience with the HTML tag set and syntax, and familiarity with the SQL command set.

Students for the Advanced course should also have experience in developing applications using ColdFusion for at least three months after completion of the Fast Track course.
